Fix MS Now's Blog | Helping to raise multiple sclerosis awareness.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. The damage caused by multiple sclerosis creates scars, called lesions, that can be seen on the brain, spinal cord and optic nerve. Because the process of developing these lesions is called sclerosis, multiple sclerosis literally means "many scars."

Articles posted on this page are carefully researched, but do not always reflect my opinion on MS treatments. My goal is to present the latest MS news and let everyone take discussions in any direction they choose. See More
